1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible

Last year I decided to add another car to the garage and was seduced by the shiny orange paint of my 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible. The car was imported from California by Paul Stanley. It was originally gold with a white roof and brown interior, it now has orange paint and a black roof. It runs a 351W 2V with 3 speed FMX - not a racing car, but enough for me and the family.

A 79 Mark V with a 400 cubic inch. This was another one of the vehicles belonging to a classic car collector in Washington which was not a registered daily driver but kept with his other cars in an insulated air-conditioned warehouse. It is a lovely vehicle with about 70,000 miles and as good as it looks.
