Peter Brock Foundation |

Sunday 30th August 09
A late decision to support the Peter Brock Foundation at the Wattle Festival Hurstbridge (Vic) combined with torential rain the day before proved littleincentive for a blockbuster Sunday; supported by 6 die-hard members in 4cars, it was a cold day but at least the rain held off.Amidst a large turn-out of Holdens & Brock special builds our 4 Lincolnsclaimed more than their share of attention which was polarized with a numberof air suspension demonstrations from Ryan in his 67 convertible. It was the 1st outing for Eric & Gwen in their recently acquired MKVCollector Series purchased from a non member that advertised on our website;reports are the MKV performed perfectly and was a pleasure to drive. Thanks to Garry & Kerryn for bringing along the marquee, banners & flags etc(& John assisting with erection) which resulted in LMCCA taking home atrophy (once again) for "Best Club Display"Attendees, left to right.John Hull, 75 MKIVKerryn Doorbar/Gary Tyley, 72 MKIVGwen/Eric Hill, 79 MKVRyan Lednar, 67 Custom convertible

July Fergusons Winery Sunday 26th |
| |
Despite a gloomy weather forecast 20 members and friends in 11 cars (1 Mercury, 1 Cadillac, 2 Thunderbirds, 1 Gallaxy, 6 Lincolns) met at Manhattan car park for the cruise to Fergusons Winery in the Yarra Valley. The weather was A1, sunny, and no sign of the forecasted rain. The spit roast lunch liberally washed down with some fine Ferguson Wine made for a great day where nobody appeared to want to go home.
